# Why has pterostilbene been removed from LongeVit?

Pterostilbene has been removed from LongeVit due to updated FSSAI regulations. It is currently not approved under the nutraceutical category, and we received a final directive to discontinue its inclusion.

This was a regulatory requirement rather than a scientific or formulation decision. We did formally contest the classification, given the well-established benefits of pterostilbene, but the claim was not accepted.

We are actively working towards obtaining the necessary approvals, and once that is complete, pterostilbene will be reintroduced in future batches.
